Starting a t-shirt brand has been on our minds for a long time. Bobby and I are artists at heart—graphic designers, storytellers, photographers, and filmmakers. We love making things that say something. After years of dabbling in different creative outlets, we realized the perfect way to share our art with the world was through a graphic t-shirt brand—something wearable, bold, and deeply personal. 

From Passion to Print

We started Edge of Elysian because we wanted to create more than just another streetwear brand. We wanted to make shirts that told stories, reflected moods, and resonated with the everyday chaos of being human. Our first designs—Call Your Mom and Please Chill Out—were born out of real conversations, emotional moments, and a shared desire to design things that actually meant something.

We originally tried screen printing everything ourselves out of my tiny 500-square-foot apartment. We experimented with burning screens, emulsion, exposure times—you name it. After many failed attempts, we realized it wasn’t quite the right time to do everything in-house (but trust us, it’s still part of the dream). What we didn’t let go of was the art. We shifted our focus to designing the kind of t-shirts we’d want to wear—pieces that are bold, expressive, and made for the ones pushing boundaries.

The Launch of Edge of Elysian

After months of designing, testing, and refining, we finally launched Edge of Elysian, our independent t-shirt brand focused on graphic streetwear for creatives, dreamers, and misfits. Every design we make is rooted in personal experience and a drive to stay true to ourselves. We’re experimenting, we’re growing, and we’re putting it all out there to see where this takes us.

For the next 30 days, we’re in full-blown hustle mode—creating, posting, connecting, and sharing everything we’re learning. Our goal is to grow this brand authentically and honestly, showing you the behind-the-scenes reality of launching a t-shirt brand from scratch.
